Multichannel Compliance Recording, with a Web Media Library
YIngest is YoungTech's multichannel recorder: it captures SDI/HDMI, NDI and streaming signals and records each channel independently, in broadcast formats from SD to UHD 4K. With automatic day-based retention, built-in TRIM and recording schedules, it is the solution for broadcasters that need compliance recording across several channels. Together with YoungMAM, everything it records becomes a library in the browser, available to any machine on the network.

YIngest at Your Station
YIngest simultaneously records and stores multiple video channels, each one independently, with support for SDI/HDMI, NDI and streaming. Every channel has its own video monitor, 16-channel VU meter, schedule and recording folder, and day-based retention keeps each channel's history with no operator intervention.
Main applications: digital compliance recording, multichannel compliance, proof-of-play, schedule monitoring and competitor analysis across multiple channels. Developed in Brazil by YoungTech for the broadcast market.

Recording
YIngest records into each channel's folders and flags which files are still open.
Ingest
The file enters the library while it is still being recorded. When it closes, it gets technical analysis, thumbnail, proxy, SHA-256, QC and transcription.
Catalog
Material type, metadata, tags, collections, markers and search by speech.
Review
Timecoded comments, approval or rejection with a reason, and quality control.
Delivery
Sent to the playout folders, automatically on approval, and archived on NAS, LTO or S3.
